Two suspects have been arrested and police have been in search of a 3rd after shootings within the Preston space prompted an emergency alert in Nova Scotia Friday night time.
Halifax District RCMP says the emergency alert has since been cancelled and a directive to shelter in place has been lifted.
Police obtained a report of photographs fired in North Preston and East Preston — neighbouring communities situated roughly 20 kilometres east of Halifax — round 6:55 p.m.
RCMP Cpl. Chris Marshall advised CTV Information nobody was injured within the shootings.
One suspect was arrested a short while later, however police stated two others — each males — fled right into a wooded space behind Brian Road in East Preston. Police stated they believed the boys have been armed.
